Biography
Mr. Vandevender is the youngest of five children born to Claude and Luellen Vandevender. His parents began their teaching careers as industrial arts and home economics instructors, respectively, at Sand Creek High School. Mr. Vandevender has two sons, Grant and Griffin.
Mr. Vandevender has volunteered time to the community including serving as a Lenawee County Department on Aging Board Member, United Way Board Member, Downtown Development Authority Board Member, Brownfield Development Authority Board Member, Meals on Wheels senior citizen meal delivery program driver, reading mentor with the HOSTS (“Helping One Student to Succeed”) program at Lincoln Elementary School, Community Fitness Center Advisory Committee member, serving as a referee for the Hudson Youth Soccer League, and as a member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Vandevender is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, and Lenawee County Bar Association.
