Biography
Jason A. Penrod, B.C.S., CELA is a Board Certified Expert in Elder Law and the founder of Family Elder Law with offices in Lake Wales, Sebring, and Lakeland, Florida. His firm concentrates on Elder Law issues consisting primarily of Medicaid Crisis Nursing Home Planning, Proactive Asset Protection Planning, as well as Veterans Administration Benefit Planning. Originally from a small town in the Buffalo, New York area, Jason graduated with his B.A. degree from Niagara University. He earned his Juris Doctrine from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jason has served as the President of the Lake Wales Rotary Club and the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce and currently is a Board of Director Member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. He authors a newspaper article in Central Florida, entitled “From the Attorney’s Desk” and is a frequent National Business Institute speaker. He is also a VA Accredited Attorney as well as an active member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar.
