As a goal oriented and practical civil litigator, Jong takes great pride in his many lasting personal relationships that he has forged with his past and current clients over the past 15 years.
His representation focuses on employment and civil rights, including wage disputes, discrimination, sex harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability leave, EDD and Labor Commissioner matters. Jong has successfully litigated both jury and bench trials, and administrative hearings. While Jong primarily represents employees, Jong also counsels small business owners to proactively address risk management and legal compliance issues.
Jong is a former weekly legal columnist for the Korea Times (U.S. edition). In addition to performing volunteer work at legal clinics such as the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic, he has spoken as a guest lecturer at various business and community events.
