Biography

Recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine, selected by The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, Lee J. Eidelberg, a native of Long Island, New York, received a B.S. Degree in marketing management from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board, the University’s Honor Court as a prosecutor, and authored “Wrongful Birth,” University of Baltimore Law Forum, Vol. 2, 1982. Admitted to practice in Maryland in 1983 and also holding bar admissions in New York, the District of Columbia and the United States District Court, District of Maryland, he is annually recognized as Superb/Client’s Choice by the Avvo Legal Directory. In April 2016 Mr. Eidelberg was invited to and accepted membership in The National Association Of Distinguished Counsel, representing only the Top One Percent of attorneys in the United States. Mr. Eidelberg launched his legal career in public service as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Baltimore County, Maryland, where he served as a Unit Chief for its Repeat Offender, Felony Review and Arson Units while prosecuting countless juvenile, misdemeanor and felony cases, including DUI, assault, theft, narcotics violations, homicide and property offenses. Upon entering the private sector, Mr. Eidelberg defended toxic tort and medical products liability cases before diversifying his trial practice on various aspects of complex civil litigation, including wrongful death, medical negligence, serious personal injury, business disputes and construction defect cases. A graduate of the National College of District Attorney’s Career Prosecutor program and member of the Maryland Association of Justice’s medical malpractice and automobile negligence sections, Mr. Eidelberg also employs his extensive courtroom experience throughout Maryland to protect the interests of individuals charged with serious motor vehicle and criminal offenses and obtain compensation for injured workers before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and Office of Administrative Hearings.
A sports enthusiast with interests in personal training and physical fitness, Mr. Eidelberg serves on the Board of Directors for the Sports Boosters of Maryland, Inc., a nonprofit organization comprised of business leaders dedicated to enhancing the lives of deserving children in the Baltimore region through charitable fundraising. He is also an avid supporter of the University of Maryland and is a member of the University’s Black And Gold Loyalty Circle, Colonnade Society and Terrapin Club.
