Any way for beneficiary to challenge legal fees charged in resolution of estate successfully?

Lawyer does all work himself for 400 per hr, could be relying on sub professionals or trustee to do many of these tasks. How do we get a fair price, we are greater than halfway thru process. Can I get someone to go over the accounting doc and tell me what is normal here? Accountant? Paralegal? Trustee doesn't seem to care.......No malpractice issues as I see it, he's done an OK job, but priced so far at 6% or so and we are not done. 1.5M estate.
