Legal Questions

Is it appropriate to be evicted from a home you own with no trial taking place?

I own my home of 45 years, and an employee of a management real estate company sued me in civil landlord-tenant law. I am not a renter. My question is, the judge automatically made an Order of Writ of Possession, and I was evicted from my home, which I own, eight days later. There was no trial, no evidence, just a hearing. How does this happen?
