My mother is abusing me. I'm 23 years old. Can I just leave?

My mom has been abusing me since I was seven years old. She has been hitting me with combs, brushes, pushing me down the stairs, throwing me on the ground, kicking me. Now that I'm 23 years old, I want to move on my own because I can't handle it anymore. How can I leave mom's house if she's my legal guardian?

You are an adult. You can do anything that you like, unless it is illegal. Moving out is not illegal. If you need further assistance, call me.
